Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of each route.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records of mileage and fuel consumption.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at each stop.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability for full-time or part-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
