Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring packages are handled with care and accounted for accurately.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing friendly and accurate service during every delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and the interior of the customer's property upon arrival.
- Complete and submit accurate daily delivery logs and mileage reports using company software.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Indianapolis metropolitan area and surrounding routes.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with mobile applications for logging deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
