Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents safely and efficiently to designated delivery points in Washington DC and Virginia.
- Verify and record the delivery of items accurately using handheld devices.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction and handle any issues or returns professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before, during, and after shifts.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure delivery environment.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily route targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliable access to a smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and delivery updates.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as required.
