Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, including the cargo area.
- Interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner, handling payments and signatures accurately.
- Utilize mobile technology for navigation, dispatching, and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid standard driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications for navigation and communication.
