Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in Jacksonville, FL and Georgia.
- Ensure timely delivery by following planned routes and adhering to traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service, including courteous interactions and package handling.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage documentation, including delivery receipts and mileage logs, accurately.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are secured and protected during transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
- Reliable vehicle access (if company vehicle not provided).
