Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to various residential and commercial destinations within the Tampa area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care and are free of damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure correct items are handed over to customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery status updates using handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service during each stop, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for accessing route maps and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
