Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery documents and ensure packages are in perfect condition upon arrival.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and others on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
