Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver for San Antonio Logistics Group, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers. You will represent our company with a professional attitude, ensuring every delivery is handled with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses or drop-off points in a timely manner.
- Pick up and verify packages using handheld scanners and company apps.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and route optimization requirements.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to management.
- Keep the delivery vehicle stocked with necessary supplies and paperwork.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use a smartphone or tablet for navigation and scanning.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with commercial delivery is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
