Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and parcels to residential and commercial locations throughout Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures for all deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries professionally and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company operational procedures.
- Submit daily logs and reports accurately via the company app.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for navigation and communication.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic English proficiency for reading directions and communicating with customers.
