Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all packages are loaded, unloaded, and handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, including verifying deliveries and collecting payments if necessary.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintain fleet safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations strictly.
- Update delivery status through the company's tracking system accurately.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of geographic areas and navigation systems (GPS).
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
