Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Inspect the vehicle prior to the route to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies strictly.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and clients.
- Complete delivery logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the depot and in the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class B preferred for local routes).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
