Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on regional routes including Memphis, TN, and Ohio.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at each stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a 0-accident record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
