Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Observe all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card payments accurately, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Report any accidents, damages, or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable access to transportation for pre-shift vehicle checks (if applicable).
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and tracking hours.
