Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in San Jose.
- Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Utilize handheld devices for GPS navigation, route planning, and digital proof of delivery.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical function before and after shifts.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and log delivery statuses.
- Lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong ability to lift, carry, and push heavy packages repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphones and basic GPS applications.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adhere to all traffic laws.
