Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Van/Box Truck) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Deliver packages and goods to customers at designated locations with a focus on accuracy and care.
- Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Verify and document delivery receipts, signatures, and any issues encountered during transit.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Load and unload merchandise, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, using proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B or equivalent) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting packages for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
