Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner to ensure high satisfaction.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to manage routes, confirm deliveries, and update status.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class D) and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and smartphone proficiency for navigation and scanning.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the designated depot.
