Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages to residential and business locations safely and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle payments accurately.
- Utilize navigation software and handheld devices to track routes and delivery status.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and geography in the Charlotte area.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for app usage.
