Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver: Transport packages and goods to residential and commercial locations within the Austin area efficiently and safely.
- Customer Service: Provide a professional and friendly face to our customers, handling all deliveries with care and courtesy.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Navigation: Utilize company-provided GPS and handheld devices to plan the most efficient routes and track delivery status.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other paperwork required for compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current and valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Smartphone Access: Reliable access to a smartphone with data capabilities for app-based routing and communication.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
