Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify package contents against delivery documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere strictly to all traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle returns or complaints with grace.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard driver's license.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital logging and route navigation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
