Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver for Columbus Express Logistics, you will be the face of our company. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their packages safely, efficiently, and with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Professional interaction with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues.
- Inspecting delivery vehicles for cleanliness and performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Accurately completing delivery logs and electronic paperwork using mobile apps.
- Maintaining a clean and safe driving record at all times.
- Sorting and organizing cargo for efficient loading and unloading.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
