Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Detroit metro area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify recipient signatures and ensure accurate delivery of all items.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning software to optimize delivery times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must possess a reliable, insured, and registered vehicle suitable for local deliveries.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient with smartphone technology for navigation and app-based reporting.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
