Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and mileage records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and route instructions at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong sense of time management and punctuality to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of navigation systems and GPS technology.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
