Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in and around New York City, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing professional, friendly, and timely service during every delivery.
- Ensure accurate sorting, loading, and unloading of packages to prevent damage and delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Utilize delivery management software and GPS navigation to optimize routes and ensure on-time performance.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and process receipts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation, logging, and communication.
- Strong time management skills and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
