Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and concerns with a positive attitude.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and keep the truck clean and organized.
- Update delivery status and paperwork accurately using handheld devices.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for some roles.
- A clean driving record (MVR check will be conducted).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of the Indianapolis, IN area.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
