Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Georgia
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and warehouse operations as needed
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and Georgia navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS technology
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
