Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver for Apex Logistics, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers. You will represent our brand with professionalism and ensure a positive unboxing experience for every client.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to our professional uniform policy and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and delivery management software to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and proof of delivery (POD) forms.
- Package Handling: Safely handle packages of various sizes and weights, ensuring they are free from damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle (if applicable) or ability to operate company vehicles.
- Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation and delivery apps.
- Punctuality: Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods.
