Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail items to customers within designated DC neighborhoods
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication via app
- Inspect and maintain assigned delivery vehicle for safety and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area preferred
- Reliable personal transportation to start location
