Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Tampa metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and digital manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure safe operating conditions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area roads and navigation systems
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills for digital manifest processing
