Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service while adhering to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management at warehouse facilities
- Adhere to company safety protocols and food handling standards for applicable deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Chicago-area roadways
- Must pass background check and drug screening per company policy
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app usage and communication
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order verification
