Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company protocols
- Load/unload packages efficiently while ensuring zero damage or loss
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for timely service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery updates or issues
- Represent the company with professionalism during all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic tech tools
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Must be 21+ years old and have reliable transportation to depot
