Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated residential and business addresses within the Houston metro area.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to strict safety and routing protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and feedback with a positive attitude.
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately document delivery receipts and proof of delivery logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently in heavy urban traffic.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adhere to strict safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
