Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Navigate Houston's streets efficiently to ensure packages are delivered to customers' doorsteps in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, handle inquiries, and resolve any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and organize packages securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage as required by company policy and law.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major moving violations within the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Technology: Must have a reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and dispatch communication.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
