Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in the Houston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating effectively with clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Accurately complete delivery logs and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Uphold the company's brand image through neat appearance and clean vehicle standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of the Houston, TX area and local traffic patterns is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
