Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated delivery locations in the Kansas City metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all packages are handled with care and professionalism.
- Update delivery status in the company’s mobile app or dispatch system in real-time.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Handle customer inquiries courteously and resolve any delivery-related issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Strong navigation skills with proficiency in using GPS applications on a smartphone.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking messages.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
