Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package deliveries across metro Atlanta
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery software
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
