As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that freight is delivered safely and on time to our valued customers across the Southwest region.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to transport freight to designated delivery locations.
- Unload cargo, verify delivery contents, and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to identify any maintenance issues or damages.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and drivers.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
