Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, handling packages with care, and ensuring the delivery area is left clean.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Accurately load and unload cargo, adhering to all safety guidelines for heavy lifting.
- Update delivery status in the management system and resolve any delivery issues or customer inquiries professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's brand image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (Commercial License is a plus but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a professional setting (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for route management and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
