As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. You will ensure that our products arrive on time, in perfect condition, and with a smile. We value reliability and customer service above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas safely and on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally and handling packages with care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery.
- Route Optimization: Utilize GPS and delivery apps to plan the most efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and time.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Vehicle Access: Have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for app-based dispatch and navigation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
