Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A delivery trucks on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- One year of driving experience preferred (Entry level training available for the right candidates).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
