Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transport.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but training available for qualified candidates with no experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
