Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely manner.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery (POD) for all shipments.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled before and after each shift.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and app updates.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must reside in or near the Illinois service area.
