Your Daily Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. We value professionalism and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the Virginia Beach area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are secure.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures where required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Utilize handheld mobile devices for navigation, route planning, and electronic proof of delivery.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and change.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for local runs (if applicable) or willingness to use company fleet.
