Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Obtain signatures and verify the identity of recipients for each delivery.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working order.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring fragile items are handled with care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving any delivery issues professionally.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to optimize delivery times.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and GPS navigation apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude toward customers.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
