Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle package inquiries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, logs, and other paperwork as required by company policy and law.
- Loading & Unloading: Physically load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid, current driver's license (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen as part of the hiring process.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
