Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Transport packages to customers in a timely and accurate manner using company vehicles.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are delivered with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Route Management: Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs upon delivery.
- Safe Driving: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license issued by the state of residence is required.
- Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record with no major infractions (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Ability to Lift: Must be physically able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for navigation and delivery confirmations.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to showing up for scheduled shifts.
