Job Overview
You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. Your role is vital to maintaining our reputation as a top-tier logistics provider in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner throughout San Jose.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered to the correct address.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues or questions.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled.
- Update delivery status in the tracking system accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS apps and physical maps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Jose.
