Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on various routes throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling payments and signatures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable smartphone access for navigation and communication.
