Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently navigate delivery routes throughout the Detroit metropolitan area.
- Ensure the accurate and secure handling of all packages, maintaining their condition from pickup to delivery.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Update delivery status in our proprietary app in real-time to keep customers informed.
- Collect payments or obtain required signatures where necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in using mobile applications and GPS navigation systems.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
