Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure, organized, and handled with care.
- Provide excellent customer service by verifying delivery details and obtaining signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and road maps to optimize delivery routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required for this entry-level role).
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for making change and verifying deliveries.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for commute (if applicable).
