Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring every delivery is handled with care.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all clients during the delivery process.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and road-ready.
- Route Management: Follow assigned GPS routes efficiently to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and any necessary paperwork.
- Merchandising: Occasionally assist with stocking retail displays or setting up promotional materials at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Experience: Prior experience in commercial delivery or logistics is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and navigate unfamiliar areas.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Equipment: Ability to operate standard delivery vehicles and handheld scanning devices.
